Five Poems Translated in English

     1. INDEFATIGABLE PRESENCE

  

Be it the rough surface of a road

Or entrance to a sleek mansion

Someone keeps progressing

With  you on every path.

In unpeopled woods

In the wide grazing lands at the feet of mountains

On calm cheerless streets

In every fraction of formless time.

Suddenly appears in the background

Perplexingly

Startles by embracing in his generous arms

Reassures

I am

With you every moment

Holding each moment

This indefatigable appearance of the Sun. 

     2. Vision – View 

It was  decided.

Some day

Listening to the drip drop of the dew

We shall go to the feet of the hills

Where the grass spreads its green sheet.

Shall place on some unmarked plane

Some dreams

Peeping through a crack between

Turbulent mind and soul

The peace of a restless heart.

They are waiting

Open arms  of the sky encircling tall shoulders

Soft wind caressing

The turbulent  milky flow of the stream

Beyond long spans of time..

After deep dreams this heart

Sits along like a yogi entranced

Duality begins to disappear

In the cosmic consciousness  merge

Dreams,

Unseen beliefs.

In the end remain

You, Him and

The sky beyond the low clouds

Where lies reflected

The absolutely private world of nothingness. 

     3. Flower, Moon and Night 

Now

Nobody writes poetry

Fragrant with the perfume of flowers.

The night may have bathed

Maybe for a just  a moment

With moonlit flowers

But nobody speaks   

Of that captured moment

Frozen there,

Of the moonlight

On the yellow banks of dawn

During the rainy season,

Of the  cosmic love created

Sitting under the weeping Hydranths.

Just  now

A child, with its mother,

Passed  by the street

Shouting with pleasure

Like the young one of a deer,

Tottering on its  feet

Jumping here and there

It is nature.

Nobody   speaks of Nature

Moon, night and flower 

    4. YOU : THE GIVER 

Silence

Spreads over the immense sand.

The stillness between activity on the beach

Never breaks.

The waves

Long, serpentine, milky-white

Come spreading arms

Break suddenly

Roaring, threatening, loud,

5. THE LIMITLESS, UNCOVERED BLUE 

Never fails

And yet, stillness

Reigns on the beach  

Reflected among the waves, 

Several moon pieces, 

Slowly soak the mind 

This rhythmic journey continues

Ceaseless.

Unbroken is this belief

Love is immortal

Everything, here, is sacrificial

But

It never gives its all.
